Join specialist art teacher, Kasia Janczewski from The Make Mistakes School of Art to participate in art workshop, Blue Birds these school holidays at Quick Brown Fox Bookshop, Grange! Inspired by the picture books, Bowerbird Blues by Aura Parker, and Bob’s Blue Period by Marion Deuchars, as well as, the renowned conceptual artist Yves Klein, kids will create a mixed media bird portrait that includes a nest of blue treasures!

Kids can participate independently or with a grown-up, and make art side-by-side to rediscover the joy of learning through ‘making mistakes. Artists will explore the symbolism of the colour blue and power of collection, create nature inspired forms and experiment with a range of media. Everyone will leave with a mixed media work on paper, a tummy full of morning tea and their heart brimming with creativity!
